There are three large types of europeans - slavs, germanics, and latins. "white" is sometimes used to refer to germanics and sometimes used to refer to all caucasions. if counting all caucasians, slavs and latins are "core white" compared to the other groups that are part of that. There are also three distinct groups of slavs (western, southern, and eastern), too.
