The jews dont follow the old testement, they follow what is called "the oral tradition" or the oral torah.

In fairness, the old testament justification for dick cutting is shakey, and in the new testament one of the epistles specifically says it's not necessary. Although it also says not to discriminate against the (((circumcised))) which is suspicious.

But I'm not concerned about what the epistles say...I'm concerned about the words of god. It is very apparent that christians treat the words of the old testament as the word of god. And amongst those words of god are specific instructions to mutilating children.

To me, it doesnt matter that god may have changed his mind...it matters that he commanded mutilation in the first place.
