I want a good, hammer-fired 9mm pistol, got any ideas?

I really don't like striker pistols, with that shitty striker trigger and the dumb trigger safeties like they all have now.

I really like the CZ 75, and have shot one and loved it, but what's another good 9mm hammer pistol besides the Beretta 92?

Browning High Power, if you can find one. Look for Belgian made and expect to pay 1200-1500.

Not all strikers are trigger safeties, Sigs M17/M18 both have thumb safeties.

That being said I would go with a sig P226 as they're pretty decent.

Otherwise my final suggestion would be an HK USP as those are pretty nice and available in 9,40, and 45. But be prepared to pay for that quality.

Last time I checked all the cheap pistols were sold out anyways. I got a HK45 and very happy with it.

Yeah the cheap pistols all sold out during the early days of the pandemic lock downs and subsequent riots when people panicked and got scared about security.

Now all the ARs are disappearing even faster after the Russian ammo ban because nobody wants an AK or anything that uses x39 ammo

Best of the DA/SA hammer fired, only get teh "G" model or get a "G" kit and replace the safety.

Turns it into a decocker only.

I have one of those and it's a good pistol for what it is, but it's double action only.

you never specified how many pounds of pressure on trigger you would tolerate

some hammer fires need king kong hand grips

i like a light 'itchy finger' trigger pull

theres web sites listing all guns by total pull for non cocked single shot
