I admit the '80s looked great and fun, but damn it, that's a lot of queers in one video.

It was. I loved that song. I guess there were a lot of out gays at clubs which I was really too young for. But there was hardly any of this in your face gay propaganda that we have now. I guess looking back the whole AIDS thing was a promotional device to elicit sympathy for homos. But life was relatively homo free. I listened to alot of that electronica stuff like yaz and depeche mode and had no idea they were homos. Maybe that sounds naive, but some straight guys wore makeup to be “punk” or “rock n’ roll”. At least I though they were straight lol.

Niggers and homos ruined the 80s spreading AIDs.

It was pretty much the 70s part 2.

IT WAS NOT in the hardcore music world.

The 1980s, the year THAT was mostly filed was the ago of NON-GAY 360 beat per minute hardcore straight-edge music at alcohol free cheap shows in hundreds of white suburbs near cities, most had ANTI GAY songs :

hundreds of places to listen to hardcore punk in early 1980s

Its an aquired taste, and all its fans initially recoiled before they liked fast hardcore punk

Back then , they wrote songs mocking trannies and faggots, but in 2021 few bands write non-satire songs against gays, but some lesbian bands do, but in satire.

RIP in peace, CBGB!

[ - ] try 1 point 2.7 yearsAug 24, 2021 20:33:55 ago (+1/-0)

a couple nice-budget documentaries on CBGB exist in recent years. I cant remember their names but one is called simply "CBGB (2013)", Burning Down the House (2009) was another. They are very very good, but 'critics gave "CBGB (2013)" just 7% on Rotten Tomatoes. CRITICS! heh.

The main critics complained that film lacked niggers in 1975 punk scene. You might think I am joking. I am serious. : https://www.villagevoice.com/2013/10/08/10-things-the-cbgb-movie-got-wrong/

I never knew the letter C stood for "Country" until I watched that.

I did think the C stood for "country". I should see those.

And if critics hared it, that PROVES it's good! [at least in these clown world days!]

Country/Blue Grass/Blues, right?

[ - ] dingbat 1 point 2.7 yearsAug 24, 2021 22:29:03 ago (+1/-0)

Right. Now all the “punks” are fucking libtard “cucks”.

70s was flairs and hippy hair. Lycra and jeans.

Yes. The details were different but they were very much two parts of a whole. The 60s-70s were distinct. The 80s-90s were distinct. The 70s-80s were like a book and its sequel.

Interesting, mass faggotry with niggers in the club doing a dumb dance isn't a recent thing.

I never realized things were this pozzed back in the 80s. Really looks no different than today, but this is probably SF or NY in the footage.

The 80s,dispite their other awesomeness, was also when people started "accepting" gays. Most of us just didn't give a shit. We didn't know how gays were made or what they did to kids. We just thought it was just some stupid gay bullshit. If they wanted to that with each other, fine,as long as it didn't effect us.

The years have not been kind to that outlook.

To be fair, it was very fashionable to look super faggy in the 80s.
