Also, @system can we change how quotes work? Instead of just ">" triggering quotes, can it be required to add a space to quote? I think that's more convenient since I style my comments like greentext.

Not really. There's a difference between being negligent and down right abusive. Captainmegashekel was both while system comes off as only the former to me.

After briefly looking at system's comment history, I get where you're coming from. I don't think banning SBBH was the right move while maintaining a facade of free-speech. I think it would've been best to just ignore SBBH apart from actual rule-breaking actions, or ban SBBH and then change the site's premise of free-speech to limited speech with free-speech primarily for goats.

I don't really have a problem so long as sites don't falsely advertise themselves as free-speech. In fact, I think limited free-speech is often best and necessary for cohesive communities. Not full on censorship, but generally weeding out users who are toxic to the site overall, as system would call them a "cancer", is appropriate to me so long as free-speech is not an ideal being committed to.
