Sometimes I wonder if dogs are parasites. In the old days they were employed in hunting or guarding, but now they are just money holes and substitute children. I have no doubt that some people don’t have kids because that spot is filled by a dog.

I love my dog but I know why he is so cute with floppy ears and big brown eyes. I know why he follows me around and tries to please me. Its because its a good living.

I woke up to a dog with a face full of porcupine quills and called every emergency animal clinic in Spokane because no one wanted to work on her so close to their qtuitting time. They gave me a number to a vet in Idaho who didn't answer... find a vet that got out of bed 2 hours before open and fixed my girl up. That picture would've been reversed for me if something happened to her. ..

He’s kind of an asshole. He barks at the back door like he wants to come in, so I get up and open the door for him and he just looks at me for a second and runs away. He just likes to jerk me around like that.

I know what he wants. He wants snacks. He makes me think he needs to come in or go out because it will make me get up. Then he tries to hypnotize me in to giving him a treat. Sometimes it works. I swear to god, I give him treats without even realizing what Im doing. Im such a dumb human.

Sometimes I try to play with him in the yard. But as soon as he sees that Im paying attention to him, he’s trying to get another snack out of me. If I throw a ball, he goes straight for the refrigerator.

Oh well. He is really cute.

Also, I read something about finding his body already decomposing, so they wanted to get it buried quickly. That may be the reason for unusual dress, it could have been a short-notice funeral.

I know I wanted to get one of my cats buried quickly when I found him on the side of the road. He stunk horribly.
