What Does The Military Rainbow Lapel Award Represent?

Is the rainbow award on his bottom left lapel (image bottom right) actually represent something non-homo related?

Army Service Ribbon. You get it right out of basic training (or OSUT for the combat arms types).

But with all the homo indoctrination classes you get when you're in basic, it's very fitting, now.

As others have said, that's the Army Service Ribbon, and it appears to be absolutely worthless. On the other hand, there are two that are similar, the Inter Allied Victory Medal (WWI) and the World War II Victory Medal.
