Can someone please explain what SBBH means? - Upgoat

SoapBoxBanHammer. Retarded sub on oldvoat started by a guy named @Mick, who helped Atko set up the original voat. Some say this was @PuttItOut's alt (he claimed it last day of old voat, but who knows for sure.)

Basically, it started as a place to post stupid shit, and to ban each other from that sub as a way to ping people. "Haven't heard from @1IceMonkey in awhile, I'll ban him from SBBH, so he'll message us."

Later, they started making themselves, along with the various ProtectVoat groups, as unofficial gatekeepers of voat. Whenever a new reddit ban came about, and the users tried out voat, they would bombard them with hate, and go onto their sub and muck with it by shitposting into their sub and then say "free speech!" and give the new group shit for "censoring", which they were only here because they, too, had just been "censored" by reddit.

It was really annoying behavior.

And then there is this dude named gabara who apparently has endless energy, and when he gets bored, he gets off on destroying things for the lulz. He ruins everything.

They sound like swell people from your description. Forcing people escaping a ban for annoying some mod into banning someone that annoyed them is poetic.
