This is a complete lie against Islam. Rape carries the penalty of 100 lashes (can easily kill someone). If the perpetrator(s) are married, then they are stoned to death. A women is only killed if she was not forced.

You sorely underestimate the depravity of polygamous societies. Sex-starved men become desperate. 100 lashes doesn't sound so bad if there's a chance they can convince the judge that it was a consensual relationship. But more importantly, anyone that has the means to 'buy' that child will marry the child to "save" her from such a fate.

It's like gun control. You can make a law but that doesn't apply to criminals, it does not address underlying causes, nor does it address the kind of intended consequences.
