I offered to knit hats as a fundraiser for the old voat. He and I would exchange emails about it. All I needed to know was how we should coordinate it (who would store them and ship them when orders came through, etc.).
Weeks would go by and I'd have to nudge him and ask for follow-up and such. He'd reply to each email with stuff like, "Sorry, I dropped the ball. I'm still interested. I'll get back to you."
He had no intention of raising funds to keep the site going. He would have done otherwise if he did. It's my opinion that he sold us out to PIA and that other Jewish-owned company whose name escapes me, kept the money, and ran (never to be heard of again).
