Yeah sorry dude but all those numbers came from India, copied by Arabs, and now they're called Arabic. The meme's pretty forced and you can look up ancient versions of these numbers without such additional features.

This is a very interesting observation and for 0 to 4 an intriguing coincidence. But the rest are pretty obviously shoehorned in to make them work. The roots of Arabic Numerals do not have those features.

Still it's a good post, OP. Thanks for giving us something to ponder.

I can give you 1-9, but at zero it falls apart, since it would have four angles in this font. As far as I remember, zero was a later invention, anyway, so it doesn't put a hole in the theory. If the theory was right and zero a consideration, it would likely either look like '-' or like '|'. Maybe even '\' or '/'. Or '´'. Lots of possibilities.
