Historical ones may have been more like 180lbs. There was an archery butt found in northern England with arrowheads still jammed inside. The archologists examining it estimated they had been shot from a bow up to 300lbs. Many adult males from that time period had curved spines because of the sheer fucking muscle on one side of their body from shooting bows all the time.
I always laugh when I see archery being the girly weapon in fantasy. Archers were monsters.
