It's hard to tell what kind of turtle (likely tortoise but tortoises are fucking turtles) is in the video. It's likely many of them dug these dens. For example, Sulcattas can dig massive dens and tunnels often working together.
Fun fact, some tortoises have scutes that flair outwards, often in the rear. It is believed this is an adaptation to not flip over and roll down the hilly places they inhabit.
Edit: Couldn't think of the most common one until I hit "post". Marginated tortoises have the flairs I mentioned.
