Your hope may not be completely misplaced.

Last time I was in Minneapolis, I met this nice older lady on the light rail. She told me all about this and that as we passed, overall a very pleasant conversation.

After a while, she lowered her voice a bit, leaned in and, somewhat conspiratorially said something along the lines of "don't ride the train at night".

Part of me felt like playing the fool and asking why and it was clear that we both knew exactly why.

Point being, Minnesota nice is a thing (and a wonderful thing at that) and clearly there is some level of awareness among the population concerning the feral negro transplants common to the area.

Case in point: MPD got in trouble years ago when one of their squads got a flat near Cedar Riverside. It's nickname is Sky Somalia. His partners didn't come to his squad, instead they circled the surrounding blocks and used their loudspeakers to re-enact Blackhawk Down.

Then there was the Christmas Tree a few years ago they decorated with Popeye's, Gin bottles, Kool Aid pouches, etc.
