Humor at their expense is a pretty powerful weapon. Given half those that seem to become cops have tons of ego and nothing to back it up I imagine they'd be easier to demoralize than most given the right material.
This is truly excellent: they're ordered to be there by their owners, so they can't leave, and the man isn't doing anything they can beat him for (yet), so they just have to stand there and listen to him.
They're all zogbots but at the same time they've got massive egos, so the guy is pitting two major mental forces against each other.
