6/10 - Imaginative and efficient use of minimal space, but I have to dock you for poorly executed trigger surround and limiting access to the shower mixer. Overall, a well done prototype, but will need improvements in future iterations.

Why the condom? The barrel will keep draining. Use Frog Lube and you won't mind it getting wet, and grease won't be an issue in the shower water.

What kind of neighborhood do you live in that you need to have a rifle nearby when you shower? I can see the benefit in keeping a handgun and some mags easily available in a cupboard or a drawer for self-defense, but keeping it in the shower seems unnecessary unless you actually plan to use it in case you're under assault whilst showering.

Nevertheless, great execution. Don't ever go down for lack of firepower.

It works well to protect unprotected metals. Just remember that your fingerprints carry traces of salt that will rust, so wipe it down and then seal it and you're GTG.
