It's a relatively common ornamental variety. Sunflowers come in red, orange, brown, purple and even blue (almost). My favorite is the 'teddy bear' variety. You can search for an image if you're interested.
I believe that's called a Dweezelius Zappadapadus. Happens when swamp gas interferes with weather balloons during a low tide.

On a serious note, did you plant those from packets? I don't think I've ever seen a sunflower that color. I thought it was a Gerbera Daisy at first. Pretty cool

No, low tide produces UFOs. You meant high tide, which does indeed produce the Dweezelius Zappadapadus, but only on mildly overcast Tuesdays when you squint. We're unsure what it produces if you don't squint; these were discovered in Asia, after all.
