I like how these faggots say "jabbed" now. The whole point of the word was to avoid triggering algorithms that listen for "vaccine". Now jabbed is being normalized and will start triggering algorithms. Fuck this gay world
Omg THIS. Y'all, we have to do better. Stop being selfish assholes and just get the jab. People are dying. COVID-19 is going to keep mutating unless 100% of us get the jab and get herd immunity. Follow the heckin science
The "Monero" account concerns me. Are she shills pushing selective crypto currencies now? I know the long term plan is to have a globalist centrally controlled one.
Crypto is definitely under attack. China stamped down on it recently, yet Chinese farms control about 75% of all Crypto. If China stepped on those the exchange would be virtually unusable. Added to that, China has just allowed the Jews in to manage Chinese wealth. (((Blackrock))) are the first to partner with the Chinese. It’s no cohencidence. The money lenders want control of crypto.
That only applies to POW coins, POS should be ok. Initially I was highly sceptical of POS but I'm coming around to it.
If the PRC did crack down on miners and force them out of the market, that wouldn't kill POW, it would just shift the computing pool out of china. POW is a competitive process, so if there's 100 times less computing power available it doesn't mean things slow down 100 times, it means slower computers become economic. Who knows, maybe laptop mining would become viable again (although I doubt it).
It might* have implications for POW if the PRC gained control of all the mining hardware and used it to perform a 51% attack. That said, doing so would be incredibly unprofitable and wouldn't really gain them anything. Also, it'd potentially scupper their own attempts to launch a state crypto system. I think it's more likely they'll force miners to register in some state system and milk them as tax cattle.
Ok, mining is dead as I assume you've noticed. To make a profit in mining now you need to either produce your own electricity or live in a third world country. Even then it's a sketch investment.
BC is BTC? Or one of the other forks?
BC is an excellent store of value, it at leasts doubles in dollar value every four years so it's beating inflation. That said I don't think it has a future, it's jewed and centralised. BCH and BSV are kinda polishing a turd imo. The crypto world has moved on from bitcoin.
If you want to make serious money without taking insane risks, I think your only avenue is DeFi (distributed finance). Mostly that boils down to:
Staking
Liquidity mining
* Lending
The best stable rates at the lowest risk that I've found are currently in staking DFI on cake defi and staking HYDRA on kucoin. Both offer a close to 100% APY (so your investment doubles every year) but that rate is slowly going down. With staking you can't lose your principal so the only risk is that the coin you're staking goes down in value. Effectively it's hodling with interest.
Aside from that, I think TRX (Tron) currently has the best chance of becoming a fiat-killing digital cash. Very low fees, very fast transfer times, very scaleable. If there's a better coin for becoming the new bitcoin out there I haven't seen it. It's also a POS coin, but it's only around 5% interest.
Personally I have most of my investment in HYDRA and DFI currently, but I'll switch to TRX if they start dying or if I build up enough profits to diversify more.
Liquidity mining is more complex. You invest two currencies in a fixed ratio (say, BTC and ETH) then those are used for people trading between them. If they maintain the same value between each other then you collect exchange fees and your investment is yours to withdraw whenever you like. If one of them significantly grows in value then you'll lose that one and gain the other. For example, if BTC crashed and ETH spiked, you'd end up with a lot of BTC and not much ETH. It's called "impermanent loss" since the spike/dip can always reverse and restore your investment, but if you cash out before that happens it becomes permanent loss. I can go into more detail if you like.
Lending is done on exchanges for margin trading. The returns are shit, but if you're holding a coin you can't stake and you're not using for anything else you might as well.
I also have a broad portfolio of a lot of other coins just in case one turns out to be important. One other niche is privacy coins, DASH and XMR probably have the best prospects there. You can stake DASH on cake, XMR can't be staked.
If you do sign up to cake let me know, if you use my referral code I get some of your fees, which I'd be happy to split with you.
Kek. Proof of work vs. proof of stake. They're two systems for filtering out bad actors from a ledger system. The traditional solution is to have a trusted central authority to confirm transactions/earnings but that's vulnerable to jewery.
The idea of proof of work is that you have to sacrifice a bunch of resources (in this case time on expensive computers and electricity) in order to confirm transactions. If the network decides you're fucking around and reject your confirmations it means you wasted money. Unless someone controls more than half the computing power and half the electricity being used by the network, we can trust selfishness to ensure that the fastest confirmations are accurate. Or at least if they're not that the inaccuracy will be punished.
The idea of proof of stake is that you use some of your savings as insurance to guarantee your work. If the network agrees you did your job, then you get a reward. If they decide you fucked around, you lose some of your savings.
Btw we can pick up the born gay vs became gay thing later if you like - I just ran out of time to continue the discussion. I still enjoyed your discussion, anyway. It forces you to to vet your own sources and fundamentals, etc.
If you'd like. I think we took it as far as we could though, assuming I'm thinking of the right thread.
No worries about tapping out. I do it all the time when threads go on too long. Internet arguments are good for sharpening your claws but they're not very productive beyond that.
