They don't. Naked spirituality is allowed in many areas such as transgenderism e.g. your male body doesn't stop the state from recognizing your female spirit.
I do think it's funny when other Christians talk about having a body as a negative that that being free from the body is a perfected state. If that is true, then why the resurrection? Why the resurrection of people besides Christ? Christ died and was resurrected and overcame death, resulting in the resurrection of others (he was the first resurrected), all so we can be returned back to an imperfect frame? The body is a gift from God and therefore is holy. It is true that a post fall body features the negative circumstance of being beholden to natural law and corruption. But post resurrection, just as the atonement is able to overcome all spiritual maladies, the atonement is also physical, the resurrection being part of it, and the body is free of these post-fall maladies. That is in fact better than simply having a spirit (post death, pre-resurrection), because you have all of the gifts God has given you free from corruption.
