My 1st impression with the amount of skin taken off me was in case the 1st graft didn't take there would be enough for a 2nd try...it doesn't work that way, if the graft doesn't take it's because the graft surface is dead and likely gangrenous. I got lucky and somebody else got my skin. Just thought I'd share this bit of useless info with the forum.
