If you don't want to read this kind of thing I get it. I reread it and even I got bored. But I needed to say this. The background pervasiveness of this entity in every aspect of my life is like tentacles that have been strangling and limiting me for almost as far back as I can remember.
As though when men complain about child support it is just because of the forced labor. In reality it's about the state offering women money to leave their children's father's. I mean if I had to design a destructive social policy that would be it. It's about making someone pay to have the single most important thing in their life taken from them. It's about the state subverting a father's role in his child's life. It's about taking a good man and making him into a social pariah.
The other day I realized child support **** me not only as an adult but also as a child when my dad was paying child support.
My parents divorced when I was 11 and I wanted to live with my dad but he was always working and I didn't like being home alone all the time so I moved in with my mom. At the age of 18, which for me was the first week of my senior year in highschool my mom kicked me out of the house. So the moment them child support checks stopped coming in I was out on the streets. I ended up working night shift in a factory to put myself through highschool. This altered the entire course of my life. Anyways, she kicked my other brother out shortly after turning 18 too but he had already graduated. Looking back it seems to me that we were just a check to her. And that is my point. My dad did love me and I ended up being raised by someone who didn't care because the ***** state gave her money.
Now I am doing the forced labor for my child. In the same way I was so naive that I couldn't image my mom just using me for child support I couldn't image my babies momma being so low as to have a baby so she could get free money but that is of course exactly what happened.
For me child support caused a custody battle (her for money me for love) which led to me being removed from my child's life.
I feel like I am telling a story about some third world atrocity but nope it happened right here and no one cares. At best I'm supposed to man up and dump all my time and thousands of dollars into their system so I can wait months and years for a judge to tell me what kind of relationship I am allowed to have with my child so long as I behave and don't miss any of their payments. For the life of me I cannot understand why so many men go along with this.
They destroy our children. How do I know? Because I was one of those children. They destroy our role as men and fathers.
Guess what? While the government is busy dividing everyone over sexism and forced labor in the past. While the government geniuses are devising ways to eradicate inequality and single parent households. You notice NO ONE is talking about actual inequality, actual sexism, actual forced labor, and the actual number one cause of single parent homes by a thousand light years?
I've been so wrapped up in politics and I realized no one is fighting about what matters most to me. My child.
It's called "tender years doctrine." In theory it's supposed to protect the interests of the child above the parents, but in practice it means mom controls the purse strings and it takes an act of the gods to have her brought to heel.
I know two families where courts awarded custody to the father (abusive/junkie mother) but none where the mother had to pay support. I also know of a few cases of abusive mothers who were high functioning enough to fool the social workers and milk the fathers while destroying the children.
In one case the mother tried to bring the dad to court on DV claims, but the kids caught wind of it at the last minute (one of them found a letter) and turned up in court. They made it clear they were willing to testify about her behaviour and she dropped the case quick.
I don't particularly blame women as a group, there's evil men too, but the system is designed to destroy men and destroy families. "Empowering" women by turning men into ATMs achieves this goal nicely. In the long term the only legal solution I can see short of global revolution is a country like Poland or Russia offering asylum to divorce-raped fathers. I doubt that'll happen though.

So they tell the father that he makes $150k and that he should pay $3,000 a month in support.
That's not a "share". The woman doesn't make the same contribution. Not at all. True she may be mothering him/her for 4 hours a day after school and every other weekend but that's generally it.

My father gave up very easily and still doesn't give a shit. He also lived off my step mothers money while he studied so he didn't have to pay child support. i haven't been too interested in marrying because every adult i knew as a kid got divorces and it ruined their lives and finances. my older sister got married to a wealthy guy then divorced him. the whole thing is a racket and it's outrageous that we allow it to go on. you're right no one seems to care and it's appalling.
there is men's rights movement that does call out this stuff and there is also MGTOW for people that just opt out of the whole corrupt system.

Don't give up on your kids. Keeping fighting for custody. Your money I going to child support anyway why not to funding a custody battle?
My father gave up very easily and still doesn't give a shit. He also lived off my step mothers money while he studied so he didn't have to pay child support. The few years he did have a job the child support all went to buying my mother expensive jewellery and clothes while we had cereal for breakfast, peanut butter sandwhichs for lunch and no dinner almost everyday. I only ever had hand me downs from my which has originally come from the second hand store too.
So, if like my father, you know your kids have a terrible mother, the WORST thing you can do is admit defeat and abandon them to her "care"
