When you haggle yourself to death

The president of the board of the Florida condominium that collapsed last week resigned in 2019, partly in frustration over what she saw as the sluggish response to an engineer’s report that identified major structural damage the previous year.

Anette Goldstein was among five members of the seven-member board to resign in two weeks that fall, according to minutes from an Oct. 3 meeting, at a time when the condo association in Surfside was consumed by contentious debate about the multimillion-dollar repairs.

Seems like a lot of jews lived there, so it's no surprise they cheaped out on repairs.

It's a hideous building likely full of hideous people. Nothing of value was lost.

I use to do remodels on buildings just like this one, and point in fact they're mostly empty this time of year. Probably not this year because of muh virus, and most of the residents are New York jews or Canadians. Anyway, the guy that organized all the work done on the property was a kike. He'd find the lowest bidder for a job, add 20% and tell the resident who needed the work done that final amount. So he routinely would profit off the residents, on top of his salary. We would charge around 30k for a full kitchen remodel, and we were constantly busy. Kike was raking in the dough. The worst part is he'd hire people to do remodels who were unlicensed and uninsured. It wouldn't surprise me if the same thing went on in surfside, it was only 120 miles south.

So all these people were living in a building that should have been condemned, while they haggled on the cost of repairs?

This is a fair point, but the obvious controlled demolition with almost no deaths likely had more to do with John McAfee's kids renting space there. It happened about the same time as his death and it's likely a copy of whatever dirt he had was stored there.

That's laughable. One of the 3 letter agencies probably could have easily gotten a warrant to just take whatever they wanted out of there, without having to kill anyone or knock down part of a building.

Depends. If the condo the servers were in was trapped, they might not have been able to get to them easily. If that condo had a backup generator or battery pack, just cutting the power might have triggered a public upload. McAfee was more /ourguy/ than not despite his degeneracy, but he was also a crazy ass mother fucker who'd kill you for crossing him. Which is how he ended up against the jews in the first place.
