Two really good dishes are fried green tomatoes and fried squash blossoms. Fried squash blossoms are nice because it gives you something to do with all the male flowers.
Remove all the bottom leaves on your tomatoes don't let them touch the ground. remove some suckers also. If a horn worm has white "spikes" sticking out of it just cut off the tomato branch it's on, throw worm and branch in the woods but don't kill it.
