When editing a new post you just made a mistake on and need to edit it, you cannot tag the post. In the editing process, the check boxes for tagging a post are gone. If you forgot to tag your post, you have to delete the entire post and submit it again.

Posts should be taggable always at any time 24/7. Having only one chance to edit your post is COMMUNISM. This needs to be addressed.

Also, 3 minutes is not enough time to edit a post since it can take up to 48 hours before one notices an error in their post. 48 hours may be too long, but 10 minutes is a enough time to catch errors if your are checking/proofreading your entire post.

ALSO, IT STILL TAKES TWO TRIES FOR AN EDIT TO STICK!!!
