None of my local 'craft' beers are very remarkable -- and besides you wouldn't have heard of them anyhow -- so sticking to the national brands my favorite is Modelo Negro. Otherwise I'll usually go with whatever Lager is on hand because it's pretty hard to screw up.

None. Beer is an acquired taste I never bothered to acquire. I always preferred 151 & Rum, or Long Island iced tea back in the day, so I could get a buzz for cheap. I only ever use beer as an ingredient in cooking, like for hot mustard.

Have you tried using a light beer for pork loin in in a crock pot? It works wonderfully.

Can’t buy it in Ireland. Think they tried to introduce it when I was a kid but the Irish reacted badly to the idea of a beer being “light”, assuming it meant lower alcohol content. They have since successfully introduced coors light, but since regular coors isn’t sold in Ireland it doesn’t have the same issue of being a light version of something else. And bud is utter piss anyway so can’t imagine the light version is up to much either.

Anything White from the Netherlands. Stella Artois, Heineken. Hoegaarden is pretty good with coriander and orange peel but it’s rich so 2 is my limit.
