Or maybe they just miss their friends who drifted away after school and fell into consumerism (hence the clutter) coupled with a feeling of not really moving forward,so the only way to go to find happiness is backwards.
Regrets? I got a few. Everybody does. What she needs is to go out and make friends. But how do you make friends when there's nowhere to really go do that anymore? No one to support you in trying so you don't just look like a lone kook? It's something I've pondered for a long time. How does one fit into society when they don't already have a family? I think it's a problem with the youth oriented culture of the modern world. There's all sorts of things for teens and nothing for anyone older expect bars and church. And if you don't like booze and hate jews,well,you're just not going to fit in at either place.
The destruction of the dance hall,the lounge,and clubs was intentional to atomize societies. Looking to the past,there were many places you could go to meet people. Even annual events. All discredited and pretty much gone for any stupid reason they can think up. It was all intentional to create this situation. The covid lockdowns were the biggest hit.
Coffee houses too. Starbucks and other modern renditions just aren't what they used to be. Socialization over food/meals is pretty much gone. Everything has to be to-go. Even family meals are sometimes uncommon in my experience.
Lots of good conversation, and probably feds. Old Voat was my favorite platform. And there are a couple places on Telegram in which I've participated in some thought provoking conversation (mostly listening, but informative stuff nevertheless).
