Not many people know this. We can practically thank japan for the Soviets 60+ million dead and WW2. Which japan also could have won for Germany easily. But after attacking mongolia and getting their asses kicked by the Russians right before Germany invaded the soviets. Japan then could have went on to tie up the soviets in the east to actually help Hitler, but they cowered like bitches until FDR convinced them to attack Perl harbour instead.
