Actually it was fairly obvious the Bolsheviks were gearing up for an invasion. They were mass producing tanks and other heavy weaponry with American government financing for almost 2 years before Hitler ordered a pre-emptive attack instead of waiting for the commie war machine to march on Berlin. I don't have the source handy but declassified KGB records show Stalin was about 2 months away from invading Europe. Uncle Adolf just decided, fuck it it's go time
