Well,it's not just the amount you eat,it's also what you eat. Sugary snacks make you hungry,leading to over eating in addition to the extra sugar. And premade food always has tons of bullshit in it that's designed to keep you fat,especially the "diet" and "healthy" foods.

I would suggest learning to cook and preparing your own meals. If you can,buy food direct from farmers. That way you can ask them what all they used on it,if it's GMO,etc. The fewer (((middle men))) between you and the farmer,the better. Ideally,you grow your own food (which is great exercise itself) but it takes a while for food to grow so you'll probably be buying it for a while. Even sugary snacks are healthier if you make them yourself just because you avoid all the (((preservatives))).
