Plus all their store fronts are purpose built and exist on demolition permits issued by city councils who couldn't care less about the people anymore, they just want whatever the mega money bags franchise HQ is going to do for them. They destroyed the retail landscapes across the west, and put a stake through the idea of real diversity, telling the hypnotized feeders that diversity only means skin color.

The cost of buying into a franchise operation that makes the few so very wealthy isn't in the reach of mom and pop, and commercial landlords are more akin to the rockefellers than Mr. Smith who used to rent to you for a realistic sum. But the feeders don't wan to eat at anything that looks slightly different than the wall of glass, name brand house of familiarity.
