Thanks for the vid. It is very satisfying watching a craftsman at his trade. I'm not a machinist but have worked around several and am fascinated by their craft.

I had to cut threads on a lathe once. I was still kind of getting used to the controls, so it was a real white-knuckle experience. I was terrified that I was accidentally going to push the tool into the piece instead of pulling it away. It would have been a lot less nerve-wracking with a gadget like that.
