Despite it being about the military fighting the war for the jews, I really liked this show. It was gritty and not glamorized. Showed the soldiers wives at home raising their kids when they were away (except the slut who cheated).
I tried watching Seal Team, but it's a typical military bullshit show with rock music playing in the background to make them seem tough, and they are all nonchalant "bc they're bad ass".
Are there any other shows similar to the unit in the sense of grit and non-glorification of war? I can't stand anything on TV now, I mainly re-watch shows from 10-20 years ago.
I liked that show too, for the most part, but they were about to hit the poz button on it. That new guy Whiplash was going to be the 'first openly gay operative', and they were going to kill off the other leads and replace them bipoc trannies or something.
