I disagree. Those cops chose to serve whatever politician is in power. It's their choice to serve communist mayors. They can quit or move to another city, but most of them don't. They are just as much an enemy as a soldier serving an enemy government is. Cops are not your friends, and they do not serve and protect you.

Cops don't wake up every morning, pray to a picture of a politician, go through a montage of them angrily staring at a picture of you, then going to the gun range and shoot a target with your face on it.
They go to work and are told that if they do this, they go home to their families with their job/career/pension still intact. Or they can get tossed into the middle of a riot.
How does the saying go? - People are not against you, they are for themselves.
Yes they can become a martyr; they can act holier than thou. They can slam down their badge, quit, sacrifice their pension for your benefit. Or they can do what's in their own best interests.
Until you realise that, until we go after the ones controlling their best interests, until it is in their best interests to act differently, then nothing will change.
And if you sit around waiting for people to go against their best interests in order to act in your best interests, you're going to be waiting a long, long time.

The people who pay them, the taxpayers, have too much hazy power, and the ability of the citizen to stop paying them is what they fear and need to control. The communists have done this so many times all they have to do is follow the recipe book. The people taking government paychecks are emotionally abused and conned into following Why would a chinese soldier force march a pregnant women into a hospital for an abortion she doesn't want? If you're a cop who follows orders and obeys - Then you (along with all of the other cops who comply and obey) protect the mayor's house.
But if you're a cop who doesn't completely obey and comply - Then you'll be sent solo down to the riots.
So.... if you were a cop, where would you be during the riots? At the mayor's house, or in the middle of a riot?
Would you shut up and do as you're told, or would you die in a fruitless effort to do what's right?
The cops aren't the enemy. The ones who control the cops are. And until we take them out, this will only get worse.
