I watched Vox Day talk recently on Rikieta Law's stream about Patreon. This is likely coming out of Owen Benjamin's lawsuit and discovery. Apparently Patreon has to have policies that please Visa and Mastercard about porn, and anytime somebody conservative gets banned they point out how Patreon doesn't uphold their policy. Patreon would pay lip service to banning that, but it's a big money maker for them. Now they are trying to clean it up before shit hits the fan:
