Not sure, but I know employers are asking. However, you are under no obligation to disclose your medical information to them. You are protected by HIPAA. It's federal law. They can't force you to disclose your medical information. That would be a violation of HIPAA. They know this, but they will try to fish this information from you.

If you tell them you won't get the shot, you'll have to prove to them you are exempt by a doctor's note or depending on what state you are in you could get a note from your pastor saying it goes against your religious beliefs.

If they don't know if you got the shot or not, if they ask if you have I would just tell them that you're not going to disclose your medical information to them.

I was caught off guard and know I should have said "I'm not comfortable discussing this information". It's out now so I think I'm fucked. My work is 90% Jews.

Just get a doctor to write a letter saying you're exempt. The doctor can't disclose your medical information without your consent so you're employer can't find out why you are exempt or go to Church and get a priest to write a letter for you.
