Well. Because of Mad Max (Maxine) they might be able to appeal. And if so, I do not believe they will win again. Especially of they choose a different place to have the new trial.
It will be interesting to see if the nogs riot anyway. The police and national guard have been a lot more strict than last time around, but somebody did a drive-by on the NG the other night, so it's difficult to predict what will happen.
They most certainly are given special levels of force. Can you as a citizen gear up in SWAT equipment and bust into any house on trumped up weed charges? I have my doubts that the knee is what killed him. What I dont doubt is that the world is a better place without him.
