Most people in White Society can't tell the difference between a Scotsman and a jew without practice. If every jew was suddenly blue then the whole world would see clearly who it is EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME.
When Dickens wrote 'A Christmas carol' he needed a caricature of a miser - he had two choices, a Scotsman or a jew. But, since the story was that everyone is redeemable, he had to go with the Scot. No one would believe that a jew could change.
