Take the title with a few grains of salt. The guy more or less says for ~2000 dollars (~5000 if you also want electricity) you can get a small home on land you bought for cheap as possible. Then he directs you to his site at https://www.simplesolarhomesteading.com/
I'm a master carpenter and I learned everything I know from reading books about carpentry and then putting what I read to use. You can do this. It's in your blood to build and create!
No doubt there are still taxes and what not. The government by design avoids genuine freedom and anything resembling it.
I suggest looking at this as a more reasonable way of getting your own home during these years when the world tries to bleed you dry and still demands more. Im just putting it out there because it might be good for someone.
