https://odysee.com is a front end for the LBRY protocol. (Odysee is actually owned by LBRY.) The LBRY protocol is a Free standard.

Content uploaded to LBRY, by using Odysee or the client available at https://LBRY.com will remain on LBRY. What could happen is that LBRY or Odysee for some reason might decide to censor content, and this has happened already due to DMCA requests. In those circumstances, they can mask search results for those files (LBRY can handle a variety of files, not just videos) so that they do not appear on their instance (Odysee). However, since LBRY is released under a Free licence, it is possible to still view and retrieve those files using forks of the LBRY client which remove the LBRY Inc. censorship. There is such a fork already here:

LBRY, therefore, is a great platform for content. I think IPFS is an even better one for technical reasons:
