Unfortunately, with Netflix waving their money around, this type of stuff is slowly infiltrating anime as well.

More than just netflix causing the problem but they certainly make it worse. Anime had been rotting from the inside out at least since it became popular internationally.

Many did. That was a very major part of its international success. Sadly its popularity also led to its corruption.
