Heather Michele O'Rourke (December 27, 1975 – February 1, 1988) was an American child actress. She made her debut after being discovered by director Steven Spielberg while visiting MGM studios. Spielberg promptly cast her in the horror film Poltergeist (1982) as Carol Anne Freeling, and O'Rourke earned recognition for her performance. She then reprised the role in the second and third installments. O'Rourke was also recognized for her work in television, and appeared in recurring roles on Happy Days from 1982 to 1983, on Webster in 1983, as well as appearing in the television-film Surviving in 1985.

On January 31, 1988, O'Rourke began exhibiting flu-like symptoms. The following morning she collapsed in her home, and was rushed to Community Hospital in El Cajon. En route, she suffered cardiac arrest, but paramedics were able to restart her heart at 9:25 a.m. She was subsequently air-flighted to the Children’s Hospital of San Diego, where it was discovered she had intestinal stenosis, she went into emergency surgery. She survived the surgery but suffered another cardiac arrest whilst being transferred to the recovery room. Doctors performed CPR for over 30 minutes, but at 2:43 pm, O'Rourke was pronounced dead. O'Rourke's cause of death was ruled congenital stenosis of the intestine complicated by septic shock.

Daniel Hollander, the head of gastroenterology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center stated that O'Rourke's death was "distinctly unusual" as she lacked prior symptoms of the bowel defect: "I would have expected a lot of [digestive] difficulties throughout her life and not just to have developed a problem all of a sudden." However, gastroenterologist Dr. Daniel Hollander of the University of California Irvine Medical Center stated that it was possible for congenital bowel narrowing to cause sudden death without symptoms if an infection caused the bowel to rupture.

It's been long rumored and confirmed in some cases that pedophiles run Hollywood. All one has to do is look, and question what they see. Hugh Heffner announcing the end of his show, dumping those "girl friends", and coming out with having 18 year old twin sisters as his new girlfriends right after they turned 18...

Look into SCI, Service Corporation International. They own thousands of cemeterys and funeral homes. They own many other companies; they manufacture caskets, embalming fluid and flowers. They basically are the death industry.

All through the 70’s and 80’s they were absolutely riddled with scandal. They were sued by the federal government multiple times while continuing to buy property and businesses across the county. In addition to deceptive business practices, they were sued for paying off medical examiners. These people could easily disappear anyone.

SCI owns the cemetery/mortuary where Heather O’Rourke is entombed.
