WWAN enabled laptops

Hi goats- looking to buy a new laptop- any of you tried one with WWAN builtin? It adds extra weight so I need to decide upfront about it.

Also, if you do have one, how much more per month is it for a 4g/5g plan? 20/mo or so? Verizon won't tell you this until register the device because they are assholes.

A hotspot is more versatile, easier to replace, and more secure.

You mean using my existing cellphone as a hotspot or buying a dedicated device as a hotspot?

A phone, or a dedicated hotspot - yes.
