I don't mind them if 1) They are talented. Even if I don't like the music you had better be good to force that shit on the public
2) DO NOT OBSTRUCT THE FLOW OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC. Fuck you if you do this
3) I'm in a good mood.

It's rare as fuck all three of those are in alignment but if they are I'm ok with street musicians

It depends on the musician. If I hear good music out in the wild I will give a buck or more. It adds to the atmosphere if not annoying.
I saw one guy play the electric violin on the streets of York in the UK and watched him for a quote while. It was awesome.
I found out later his name was Ed Alleyne.

Sometimes I pull a really old one and I wonder how many actually get that joke. That one isnt completely obscure so I think most got it but it rides the line of being buried in the past.
