This generation needs to learn what "propaganda" meant to that generation. It was not a bad thing. Even though it was defined and its methods thoroughly described by a jew, Edward Bernayss, Freud's nephew (true story), propaganda was considered an ethical means for the ruling elite to communicate and control the people through mass communication. The whole things about "the big lie" can be found in "Mein Kampf", where Hitler was WARNING people how jews use it to get away with astonishing lies.
