It raises the deduction back to 100% from the 50% it has been since 1986 when the last large tax reform / simplification was.
Restaurants and hospitality associations are for it, along with trump, assessing that businesses would dine out more if the expense was fully deductible, rather than only half.
Secondly, if this is extended to any individual at any time, then this is GREAT news, not bad news, nor DUMB news. Why is paying LESS in taxes to a corrupt system in any shape or form, bad?
