This is a great opportunity to force them to quantify "of color". What, exactly, is a woman of color? Where do we draw the line between a person of color and a non-person of color? Does a swarthy-skinned Italian count as a person of color, even though they're European? What if their skin is darker than an American high yeller? What about feather indians? Do you have to be full-blood copper-skinned injun or do the Elizabeth Warrens of the world get welfare?

This is as feasible as ooking for reparations. There's no logical way to distinguish who should get them. Anyone could claim to be a quarter this or half that.

Any Marin county goats, go identify as a black mother and get your welfare

Technically not and neither is black. They're tones. Red is a color,though; So is orange, blonde, green, blue, hazel... You know: all the colors only white people exhibit.

That's less then average welfare payments to a mother with one kid. IIRC where I live it's around 1500-1700$/month.

125 people, $1000 a month. $125,000 a month in total.

400,000/125,000 = 3.2 months.

To go on for 2 years it'll take $3 million. Which isn't ridiculous, just know that's just for 125 people.

I'm curious about a couple things.
1, why are they doing it in a place that's 80% white?
2 Why are they doing it in a place with the "fifth highest income per capita in the United States at $91,483."?
3. Poor black mothers already have the biggest economic safety net in the form of food stamps, TANF, everything on this page https://moneyfit.org/low-income/california-resources , and not to mention private church charities all over the place. I think they people to show them how to fill out fucking forms, not new gibs.

California's fucking stupid and wasteful, but what's new? At least this'll provide another data point of UBI failing... again...

Taking into account that in the visible light wavelength " White " is all colors combined. Whereas " Black " is the absence of color, or no light being reflected back into your retina.

So yeah. Only white women need apply.
