That's because you're mainly familiar with his later stuff where that is completely the case. Back in the '50s, he was quite inspired and recorded some pretty great shit... then his ego, and success, and being a nigger got to him I guess. Wow, that's old, from before they did all the things. They had a site for her somewhere where they showed off all the crazy things they did. They took out the original [GORGEOUS] diesels from the 20s that were still in there... and still ran fine! ...and installed super modern monstrosities that get better mileage but are sure to last nowhere near as long... and holy hell, they don't even TRY to make big engines pretty anymore these days. Mostly.

I didn't know you where a boat fag. That's a gorgeous vessel. I live in a port town and we get lots of motor yachts in and out, but They're mostly modern rubbish. We do however get plenty of sailing yachts that are worth a gander.

I don't usually give any fucks about motor boats, but this one was special. And the owner was pretty cool. I kinda sorta wanted to invite myself aboard, but he was clearly in the middle of something so I didn't... and I also had things to do on my boat anyway.
