but maybe their stockholders did for dividends and capital gains, their employees paid federal and maybe state, people got employees, state and local taxes, and pass that onto you when you buy shit from them... they get write offs to allow huge deductions., so if they were tsxed, who do you think would ultimately pay those taxes... corporations or the end consumer? no taxes means cheaper than they would have been with them
