I'm so excited

My God-daughter is coming to the range with me and her dad Saturday. She's 17, and first time firing a gun. I've already sent her a bunch of Paul Harrell vids, her dad is teaching trigger control and safety, and I'm just stoked. She is watching every link from here I share with her dad, and just up and wanted to learn to shoot. Complete red-pilled teenager, and I can't be more proud of all I've taught her over the years.

Good for you man. I always start them out on a .22 so they don't get so scared of the bang. Then 380 and maybe 9mm with a heavy slide (so the recoil doesn't scare them off of it)

I'm a huge fan of Paul Harrell, but he might not be the best choice for a 17 y.o. girl. He really caters to gun-nuts and autists. No one else wants to hear him go into 30 minutes of gratuitous detail.

I sent her the 3 videos on accurate handgun shooting. 5 minutes, 7 minutes, and 6 minutes. Yeah I didn't subject her to the really long winded stuff lol.

I'm going to start with a Ruger 10/22, then Taurus 94 .22 revolver. After that Beretta 92fs, and RIA 1911. Then finally the loud boys.

I belong to a private range, and they do not allow any targets that have a face, or other features. Only silhouettes or standard target rings.

Have fun buddy. My dad and I go to the range together and I know he loves it. When my siblings are in town sometimes they come too. It's a fun family event!
