Varying schools of thought.

For max accuracy at long range, I like to breath out about 90%+. For most anything else, I like to breath out about 50-75%. Not really sure what I do for standing close quarters rapid fire... I should maybe pay more attention to how I breath in that situation.

For archery, I breath in about 80-90% when I draw my bow and breath out just after release.

I've always found it interesting that I use the opposite breathing strategy for archery compared to riflery, but, it's because archery is closer to lifting, and breathing in and holding it helps stabilize and brace your core, as well as halping to properly engage your upper back in the draw cycle by expanding your chest.

Breathing doesn't mean shit with a handgun. Distance is too short to matter. Better to practice quick fire drills. How quickly can you pull and place 3 rounds in a bullseye.

I was just happy there seemed to be no pass through. It looks like his shot was fairly in line with the potential victim, and HP rounds aren't supposed to penetrate, but at that range they often do. Particularly if it was a magnum round, but even 9mm at that range I wouldn't be surprised. 380 or 38 special probably wouldn't.

Also looks like he hit the shoulder/shoulder blade too, which would probably prevent a 9mm from over penetrating. But yea a head shot would probably miss... any shot on target is better than one off.
